Buying a Car

Hello everyone, once again I seek your wisedom.  Now I am looking to purchase a used vehicle.  I kinda like the Jeep Wrangler and Volkswagen GTI or GLI at the moment.  What are you suggestions?  I don’t want the run of mill, everybody has one, generic vehicle.
